Vickery cops one from Easton Wood.

Commentators praising Elton's work in defence so far.

Three OOTFs in a row .

Batch first.
Doggies give it back.
Grigg then returns the favour.

 :P

Doggies get one back.

Doggies on top in the last 5 mins and are back in front. Our kicks out of defence have been ordinary in that time.

Flossy to Petterd through the square. We have players free but Miles holds on a fraction too long and when he goes towards Vickery in the clear, the ball holds up in the wind and gives it time for Talia to spoil. Almost punished 12 pts on the rebound but the Dogs miss.

Even if their experience runs over us in the end, good to see our teenagers and late draft picks being competitive. Got it on record now because off to the foo fighters.

All Dogs last 10 minutes and they kicked the last 4 goals.

Inside 50s: 17- 4 that 2nd quarter.

Centre clearances that 2nd quarter: zip - 5 (there's the game).

Commentators saying it's a 3-4 goal wind.

Half-time

Richmond    4.0   5.1-31
Bulldogs     2.3    7.7-49

Goals: Arnot, Short, Vickery, Morris, Knights.

Spot on. Given the Dogs are at full strength while we are playing a virtual VFL side, there's been plenty of good signs so far from the young cubs.

Touchwood, we get through unscatched today too which is the main thing  :pray. Other sides haven't been so lucky. Eagles' Eric McKenzie has done his ACL and young Libba's knee is also being scanned to see if he has done his ACL as well.

I'm cutting up Ramps for him
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.
