DR saying we are looking at him as a FA only. Will not trade picks for him. For this to occur the jabbinators have to release him from his contract. They wont IMHO. So he will remain in the land of doping....

This bloke said his spine was so stuffed he has to lie on his back on the floor to get his socks on in the morning.

Will be hanging with Knights in the rehab group probably.

Keep quiet and calm, mods. This is a one off post. Quiet and calm!

Things haven't changed much around here. A lot of you are still a pack of whinging knobs with no knowledge of the game. Winderlich can actually play football. Of all the recent trades/signings/rumours you can whinge about, this is the one that rubs you the wrong way most? A guy who may be pushing 30 but is a proven player in a finals side? A guy who is very quick and can use a footy (something we lack)? Some of the morons in here were talking up the Hampson trade as a good one, so why should anyone listen to you gimps?
Even if he only plays 15 games this guy is a solid pick up. "Oh but he's taking up a kids spot" give me a bloody spell. Again, half of you are on here 24/7 bagging our "kids" anyway.

In conclusion, Jay Schulz is a gun and most of you can go and get a dog up ya. Actually I like dogs, so just go and get stuffed.
Greetings to Owl, Willy, Tony, al, Smokey, TFT, BJ, Chuck, Damo and a few others. Keep fighting the good fight boys :thumbsup

I miss the crusty old bugger ;D
Even though we disagreed on many things, he was a worthy adversary.
At least we agree on Winderlich!

Didn't this bloke retire a few weeks ago?  Well, he only has to un-retire & nominate for the draft & we might take him with pick 100 in the PSD.  Maybe.  I could tolerate him in an on-field coaching role in the twos & on our rookie list if we need players, but to use a second round draft pick on depth is plain stupid!  Don't trade for him, just let him bottom out first.  Not much to gain & even less reason to gamble.  Upstanding bloke though, doesn't like needles much ...

He can't nominate for the draft because he has contract clause that triggered when he played a certain number of games. So if he "un-retires" and the Bumberlings act on the triggered clause he remains a bomber.

Fair point, what about Mitch Clarke? Did he qualify as retired or just out for the rest of the season?
