Emma Quayle's write-up:

Jordan Cunico   (Gippsland Power)

Born 7.5.1996, 184cm, 72kg

AFL biography: Medium Midfielder with exciting burst of speed and can run all day. Strong overhead for his size and consistent ball winner in championships where he read the play very well, particularly at stoppages. Averaged 15.6 disposals at 74% efficiency playing for Vic Country in the NAB AFL Under-18 Championships.

who cares

FJ will stuff these up. Might as well upgrade Maric's cousin with one of these picks or use it to bring back A edwards.

There is hope! FJ is now not calling all the shots. The club made sure of that!
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

From the same Emma Quayle article:
Lukas Webb  (Gippsland Power)
Born 4.3.1996, 186cm, 80kg
AFL biography: Left footed medium forward who is strong overhead, an excellent one on one player that is rarely beaten and an excellent kick. Reads the game well and had an outstanding final game in championships, kicking four goals from 16 disposals with six marks against Western Australia at Etihad Stadium. Averaged 15.2 disposals in five under-18 championship matches.

I would take Webb if avail at 52 and turn him into an attacking hbf.

With Hunt's recruitment, we'll now most likely be using only live picks 12, 33 & 52 with 70 being used on promoting Miles to the senior list.

The AFL site's Draft Machine has the following at our later picks:

33. Dean Gore - inside mid, Sturt (SA), 18, 183cm, 86kg
Medium midfielder reads the game well and strong in contests. Has speed and elite endurance. Played pivotal role in South Australia winning the NAB AFL Under-18 Championship, averaging 15 touches, seven tackles and three clearances. Averaged 14 possessions in 12 games for SANFL club Sturt. Finished equal-first in the goalkicking test (30/30), equal-third in the kicking test (27/30) and equal-fifth in the standing vertical jump (72cm) at NAB AFL Draft Combine.

52. Damien Cavka - half-back/midfield, Calder Cannons (Vic), 18, 184cm, 79kg
Elite endurance player with the capacity to run all day. Can play variety of roles, including shutting down opponents through the midfield, as well as rebounding from half-back. Shows excellent character and work ethic. Performed well at NAB AFL Under-18 Championships, averaging 18 possessions, seven tackles, five marks and three clearances at 70 per cent efficiency in four matches. Averaged 23 possessions in 11 games and kicked 17 goals for Calder Cannons in the TAC Cup.

so we can rule out pick 70 that now goes on miles.

is it possible for us to say put 39 on the list proper and have 5 rookie spots not sure how that works in this case.

I hope we go with a 40/4 list - keep pick 70, have a PSD pick - add Darcy Cameron, Shane Nelson & a big young KPD to Thomarse.

Gore sounds good if we address our pace issues with our first pick.

Wigg tipped to go anywhere betwwen 25 - 65. Wouldn't mind him at him at 33 but it would be a fantastic result to get him at 52.
