lol anyone that plays a number of AFL games understands the game, paricularily those that only have average ability.

just out of curiosity, what players has monkhurst turned into senior afl players in a year?

plenty more than mcqualter ever did or will. He was one of the worst players i ever saw and that's saying something. How is he supposed to help develop our youngsters when he has to play for the VFL side?

hawks 2 flags 4 consecutive prelims. Record of monkey and his other assistants speak for themselves. Look at Hale, lowden, ceglar and how they went. they coudlnt even squeeze mcevoy into the team for various parts of the year.

Who do we have to take us to the next level in our footy department. We cannot afford a full time developer as mcqualuter is a player as well is he not.

We need to get smart and be bald. We have a need to develop our talls especially as maric is a few years away from finishing up so why not get the best out there. We have an issue with aboriginal players in that we cant handle them, so lets change that and poach Mickey O to turn that around. I'm not saying we have to do all of those things but stuff me we are never bald with our approach, always play second fiddle to the other clubs.

I always hoped Balme's next club would be ours. That won't happen now sadly.

A good example of how a strong club goes out and gets things done. They don't care how hard it may be, they just do.

but which ones was monkey responsible for and which ones did he do in a year.

playing as well as coaching is a different issue as whether he has what it takes to coach, as is how much natural ability someone has as a footballer

And i said he was a good coach where?
if there is a more inane, simple minded way to answer a question as this i am yet to see it  :banghead

no, not at all, but i cant understand why you would ask me about something i never said?

that is just bizarre.

nor does it even go close to addressing the question at hand, which unlike your question, is asking someone to explain or elaborate on a statement they actually made.

making too much sense Bents so i doubt he will reply.

Al needs to look at David Hale and how he has transformed his game. Thats what happens when you have quality people developing you.

I guess some blokes are just happy the club never puts their balls on the line in an attempt to win a flag

no, i thought perhaps you would have been able to provide some sort of insight into your view on what makes a good coach and what attributes these blokes have or lack that helped you form your outspoken opinions on them..

clearly i gave you too much credit.

Simple fact is for a big time club we don't make enough appointments that make people sit up and take notice.

Who isn't a fan of the thinking man's orange Tim Fleming?

But you see, it's not me, it's not my family.
In your head, in your head they are fighting,
With their tanks and their bombs,
And their bombs and their guns.
In your head, in your head, they are crying...

I don't see what the problem is.

I want us to be find the next "Neil Balme". Balme is now at the end of his career.  He has health issues and the input you think he'd give would be limited.

We should be going after someone 20 years younger who is still good and getting better...
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.
