I work with toys and I agree with the opinion that some of it is just crap. I am constantly amazed at the stuff I see and think "this will never sell" and it just flies off the shelf. Have to say though kids do show genuine excitement still for toys not just electronics although no doubt electronics has taken a much bigger chunk of their interest
