I won't lie- I didn't see anything to hang my hat on.
He looked slow by foot and even slower by mind.
I know he is underdone and he wasn't our worst but I thought I'd see something that would make me think, yer this kid can play. Sometimes it's only one passage of play but from where I was sitting I just didn't see it.
Anyway horrible day by the club.
As for Lennon he was worse IMO.

He certainly did impress in 2nd half. Is tiny though, need to look after these kids, especially with no pre season. Wrapped for him to get through the game.

We aren't developing Lennon at all. He was a steal at 12. Bringing him in and subbing him out every game and the making him the sub is pointless. Give the kid a proper crack instead of gifting full games to Newman, Morris, Lloyd (until this game), Vickery and more. Give him a crack for an extended time.
Go Tigers!

Kid looked good. Looked better than Lennon. Will be a player IMO. Needs to stay in the 22.

People writing Ellis after one match. Funny stuff.

He's going to be a player. Tough and clean in close. Lennon is a worry though.

It's the mishandling of young talent that worries me more. Coaching staff should be charged with the corruption of minors.

Really loved Cory's game. Was refreshing to see someone attack and hunt the ball with 2nd and 3rd efforts. Just embarrassing that an 18 year old as small as he is can come out against men and show our boys how it's done. Credit where credit is due we did start hunting the ball a lot harder towards the end of the game but by memory Cory was the first to show the desperation to win the contest and then actually win it.

Makes the game look slower around him. A unique quality. Very impressed with what I have seen in particular some of his handballs.

Has soft hands and can read the ball very well. Qualities that are hard to teach. A definite keeper. :thumbsup
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

Just looked like he had the tiny bit of extra time to dispose of it, gold in modern footy
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.
