Yes the misses were terrible

Yes he chose the wrong option a few times

But He was good yesterday, bloody good

And I'll forgive the misses because last week when we needed clutch goals, when we were down Geogie delivered.

Shouldn't forget that
"Oh yes I am a dreamer, I still see us flying high!"

from the song "Don't Walk Away" by Pat Benatar 1988 (Wide Awake In Dreamland)

We all know your a castagna fan and thats ok. Your entitled to your opinion. I just didnt rate his petformance yesterday and I stand by what I wrote.
I am a George fan and yes he did kick poohouse at goal yesterday but he was a massive contributor on the day and if you cannot see that I feel sorry for you... actually no I don’t.

if Daniel Rioli had wasted all the opportunities George had you would have been on here blasting him for his performance.

rioli was excellent yesterday. kicked a huge goal just on quarter time some brilliant handballs to team mates. 10 rioli disposals worth about 30 for others lol.

0.5 is the second most inaccurate goal kicking in AFL/VFL history. Well done Jason.

The guy who holds the record kicked 0.7

Arnold Briedis did that with North Melbourne in the drawn 1977 GF. Almost cost them the flag. He made up for it in the replay kicking 5 goals.

Selfish. Wasteful. Suburban standard
Who is lucky because hes got terrific players
Covering up for him. His 0.5 yesterday was a disgrace.
Awful take. At no point was he selfish. :thumbsdown

You clearly watched the game on TV.
Not once, twice but three times he had options to pass including Lynch standing 30 meters by himself in the square but he went for self Glory instead of going to the team thing. Was the most selfish player on the ground by a country mile yesterday.
I ended up getting seats, on level 4 so I had a great view of the game.

The only one he should have passed was in the last quarter, when the game was dead and he had Lynch on.

All the others he had every right to shoot.

You just lied about “2 or 3 times”

Having the 'right to shoot' at goal doesnt mean you dont pass off the footy. As they say in the classics Bad Kicking is Bad Football.

His attack at the football was outstanding. I would have loved it if he had kicked straight but he was a constant danger for GWS.

I just put your comments down to a lack of class.

Pretty distasteful comments straight after a grand final win about a 2 time Premiership player.

100% agree on that last one he could have hit up Lynch, the rest like you say were Georgie’s to have a shot.
Bad kicking is one thing but selfish is just disrespectful imo.

And I’m not just saying that because it George.

Glad you get a seat. 👍

Jack didn't cop as much internal heat last week despite being considerably worst in the prelim than George was in the GF.

This guy is something else. Burns blokes off like they're standing still.

If he'd jagged 2 and passed that one off to Lynch he would have been comfortably in our best.

He's our best forward IMO, especially given his lack of natural talent. All heart and effort.
