George is 24 today  :birthday.

Playing like he's had a big one... :shh

Does he realise he is getting paid to play this game?

We should trade this guy out and get something at the end of the year.

I was just thinking the same thing.
Castagna has absolutely no footy nous at all.

I think butler kept him more accountable. They were kinda two halves of the complete small forward. Butler I think made better decisions and was a better kick while castagna is the better over head mark and lightning quick over 20m. It’s kinda ridiculous we had all these small forwards and spoilt for choice to no small forward currently being able to make an impact.

Bet you weren’t saying that grand final day last year
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Revisionist theory at its finest. Butler was very very poor after the 17 grand final win.

Castagna is a good footballer. Just out of touch like lots of them.

Jack was worst imo.

I was. Kicking 0.5 was disgraceful. Bad kicking is bad football but most of our supporters were salivating ovet what they considered was a great george performance
0.5 lol. How many out of bounds? How many turnovers. He was ordinary on grand final day.

Is in career worst form along with Riewoldt and Rioli. No wonder our forward line can’t kick any goals.

Must improve: Jason Castagna

Andrew Slevison
SEN
13 August 2020

It was a performance of almost zero impact from Castagna. Usually quite bright and bubbly around the ball, he was nowhere to be seen on Saturday. He had just one possession until three-quarter time before he moved up the ground late to finish with five touches. Castagna looked a bit sore throughout so perhaps the condensed fixture has caught up with him and a little freshen up might be in order.
