Melbourne are a disgrace as a footy club. What did you expect? They are still going around looking for priority picks lol.

Yep play their annual GF against us every year only to be non competitve for most of the remainder of the season. We won't be the real deal till we bury skata sides like this once and for all and not drop games stupidly against them.

Port have turned up to play tonight and the Hawks are off so far.

John Butcher proving once again he is the worst kick in the AFL. Worst kick since Duncan Kellaway.

Hawks only a point down now. Hinkley doesn't have a plan B which is why Port have fallen away this year. I can't believe he hasn't subbed off Butcher. Twice spoiled Sarge going for the same mark instead of staying down.

Port won. Stuffs up Hawthorn's chance of a home final. Also shows they are vulnerable to pace and opposition sides that deny them possession and uncontested marks.

It's true though. I'd reckon Butcher only hit one target by foot tonight. He had 3 shots on goal in the first quarter and the ball almost ended up further away from the goals than from where he kicked it lol.

no mythical plan b for the hawks then either?

its sounds like the same way to beat us too, add to that some fierce aggression and see the egg shell break and all the soft stuff run out.

Actually, Clarkson pretty much admitted that after the game. He just accepted they were off their game last night and Port were on.
