Lyon wouldn't touch us with a 10 foot pole.

LMFAO who do we think we ARE?

was going to post something similar.

Ramps i like your posts mate but seriously look at us. Dud assistant coaches(bar 1) of which we got rid of 2 IIRC and replaced them with SFA.

American woman as a president who offers nothing really IMO, coach talking to the media about not performing in bed with his wife.

Yep Rossy Lyon just cant wait to arrive at Punt Road.

Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

Thompson.

No Ross please. Don't want to see us kicking 80 points and beating teams kicking 50. Ever.

Throw the sink at Thompson if necessary. Guy can clearly coach.

What difference does it make.
We saw the Messiah complex with Wallace and how that panned out.
Now he is the list organiser on SEN.
Please. We are a skata footy club.
At the end of the day whichever fly sits on us what would that do if the club is going to make the call
next year and we'll need a half rebuild with circa 67000 impatient members baying for success in finals and a club wanting to push that.

Sounds like somewhere we've been, something we've seen, something we all know too well.

Plop plop plop.

I hear you Don but I really think we are an attractive option for a coach.
Huge, but under-performing club, now with good facilities, memberships and a nucleus of good players.

did you see what Lyons freo team did to geelong today? absolutely smashed them. Lyon IMHO is in the top 2 coaches in the AFL today.

He won't be leaving Freo

Think you will find he gets an extension sooner rather than later. In discussions now

Lyon is an excellent coach. No doubt. You dont get to multiple GFs by being a mug in the box.
His sides are always very disciplined and hard to play against, which is the mark of a good coach.
Massive respect for Ross.

That's why he is not in the top  two as a coach. Longmire and Clarkson have those two spots sewn up.

l'm still happy with Hardwick. There are just a few players who need sorting out. Hardwick needs to be tuff on a few & make them earn their spot. A few changes next week

I'd take Clarkson.
The club that keeps giving.
