We all hate Carlton but that's rubbish. I also have to say that for a period of about 2 years Kouta played football like I have never seen it played before and he was a highly skilled player for a long time before he was cruelled by injury, he was clearly the best player in the league over that period of 2 years that I talked about and even Judd at his best didn't play to that standard that Kouta reached. Having said that Richo was a star for more than a decade so its RICHO for mine.

More like for about half a season in 2000.

Richo was outright robbed by the footscray hack for the brownlow, Richo performed better over a much longer period, but there was a 2 year period where the greek was just outstanding and he too was robbed of a brownlow IMHO.

I agree - but the  peak of that period were he was, as you say, even better than Judd at his best, was only for about 3 months/half a season..and there was probably an absolute peak period of about 6-8 weeks within that again where he was nearly up there with Carey, Matthews & the Abletts. Remember it well because I was starting to get seriously peeed off that Carlton had such a player.
