Was Miles' non-mark touched?
« on: May 01, 2016, 05:07:22 AM »
A few minutes earlier, Richmond debutant Jason Castagna was involved in a controversial passage of play. The 19-year-old performed a blind turn and a sidestep before passing inside 50 to Anthony Miles, who was unlucky not to be paid either a mark or a free kick for high contact. The extended booing by the Tiger army said it all.

About the only period during the game last night where we looked to have a bit of a run on and our momentum dropped dead after Port scored a goal straight after the mark wasn't paid to Miles.

Was it touched?

It was clearly touched but should have been a free kick for high contact. One of about three costly howlers in the penultimate stages of the game.

Missed holding the ball decision in 3rd quarter was critical as well

Not that I think it would have changed the result

But how it wasn't a free for head high contact is staggering.

We had a run on and mentioned took the wind out of our sails, which sadly shows again mentally fragile we are
