This has peed me off for some time now. Most clubs have a few roaming around and the best we can come up in out forward pocket is a vfl hack from frankston

Once again what are these recruiters doing? Surely they are racist or blind or perhaps both

Our forward half is non functional. We lost griffiths and were bent over by a club that is supposed to be years behind us in development.

Either get some indigenous talent or FO. Our last success story was Michael Mitchell 2 decades ago.

Like Troy Taylor or Relton Roberts? Dean McDonald also part aboriginal. Lets not forget Shane Edwards or Nathan Drummond? WGAF if they are 'a quarter' or a fifth. Both men are proud of their heritage (as they should be).

I for one want quality football players regardless of ethnicity. Picking up aboriginal players for the sake that they are aboriginal is ludicrous.

But I'll bite. Whom exactly do you see us picking up? How many aboriginal players have been drafted in the last few years? How many have had success at AFL level? (there are not many). Lets remember Dayle Garlett at Hawthorn. Lets remember that Sumner kid from the Gold Coast. There are more examples of these players NOT working out across all clubs over all states (there are certainly two more that come to mind).

So - enlighten us as to whom.

Why would we deliberately select aboriginal players , that's not equal opportunity. We recruit footballers , irrespective of race . Close the  thread before the site gets shut down  :o

You'd think the 100 meters finals at the Olympics would be one Arab, one Chinese, one white, one Jew etc.

Nope all black  ;)

The world is so non politically correct isn't it

Btw - I'm pretty sure stereotyping in a positive way is acceptable. Ie. Germans are organised. Aboriginals in the forward pocket are handy

If the Poms hadn't murdered so many Aboriginal people when they came here, we would have a better success rate.

What are Australians good at?
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Even if its wrong, and it's slightly less that's still quite remarkable

Not sure how the PC folk reconcile facts like that

Pretty sure "the PC folk" generally love "facts" like that.

Why is that flamboyant Roman emperor?

Wouldn't aboriginal being four times better than white Australia at Aussie rules footy be non PC ? As the stats go against the narrative? (Everyone is equal yadayada)
