"North Melbourne now have generated eight scoring shots from nine inside 50 entries for the quarter, but have scored just 2.6.12.

Richmond have generated 10 scoring shots from 13 forward 50 entries for just 3.7.25"

"Not surprisingly considering there is one goal the margin, but most statistical areas are even at half time. Both sides have 60 contested possessions apiece, the Kangaroos have a disposal efficiency of 77 per cent compared to the Tigers 76 per cent."

Again, another shocker by Gordon and we gift another last 30 seconds of quarter goal. It would be quicker to train some monkeys than this lot, they would have to be the dumbest footballers i have had the displeasure of watching. I think after coming up with various reasons why we lose games i think it can be due to two simple factors. Firstly on an individual basis our players are not as skilled as opposition players and secondly our players cant make the right decisions with the ball. Time and time again our entry into 50 is haphazard at best and we are usually outnumbered 3 to 1. In our defensive 50 we are outnumbered, how the hell does this happen, we must have 5 midfielders having a picnic in the centre square.

GORDON !!!!! Take the stuffen mark mate. Horrible.

His a spud and is probably my most loathed player now. Just doesn't have the skills or the brain to play AFL footy

I thought the Roos were top 4 material after snaffling Waite and Missy? 2 ordinary sides out there atm, at least were having a crack
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

This game is typical of our year. We're actually on top in general play but our useless forward half with no smalls means we need to work our guts out to score while North are just picking off our turnovers and running it down the other end for easy goals. As we tire in the second half, the errors will increase and North will be given more chances off our mistakes. That's what usually happens  :scream :help.

They're crap as shown up by Hawthorn last week. A good side would be 4-5 goals up on them based on how they are playing today. However, Geelong didn't play that well last week and they still beat us. We're sadly just worse as we're structurally deficient :(. Thanks Mr List Management Blair Hartley  ::).

I think one of ch.7 flogs actually praised Gordon at first for tapping the ball on instead of taking the mark...

Griffo won't play next week. Only now slowly coming around.

Dead set it is frustrating. I don't get it, just do the same thing every time. Been 15 years since I played rep footy and was an early look in for Brisbane zone selection, but I can still go down the park and hit 9 out of 10 from 50 at any angle (was lucky enough to have Roger Merrett as a kicking coach early and later on trained with Vossy's bro and few of the other boys, but no different to what these players have access to). It's like when these blokes get to AFL they're told to forget absolutely they were taught as juniors.
Blame the sports scientists who say goalkicking practice is an increase in loading and will tire the legs :facepalm.

Grigg off injured (left knee). So we're down two again.

North turnover and we get it to Ellis but he misses.

Rich  39
North 44

Cotch to Gordon back to Cotch but his kick to Jack is short and Cotch gives away the free against Thompson.

Thomas drops the mark so the ump gives him the free  ::). Another gifted goal  :banghead

39 - 50

Chaplin now injured. We'll have no bench at this rate  :help.

Ivan taps to Titch. Morris drops the mark but gather and kicks around body. Gordon spoils and it's a stoppage. McIntosh snaps and misses near side.

Rich  40
North 50

We're kicked 3.9 since 1/4 time  :banghead.

Thomas carries on like the kind of grub that hasn't had a clip on the chin in a while. If I ever saw him I promise to give him one. Total flog.

Gordon bounces then off to Ellis but Jack is outmarked by Thompson. Our entries into the forward 50 are shocking.

Free to Gordon in the centre. To the 50. Stoppage. We gain possession but the high ball is marked by North  :banghead.

Morris to Hunt under pressure. After going around the merry-go-round with handball we actually find Jack in front and in space. Goal  :gotigers

North  50
