I feel really flat . Thought we were lucky to win .

There is something horribly wrong with the way we play the game.

419 disposals to 325 in our favour... ... Yet they had more inside 50s ( 53-46) and had 6 more scoring shots.
Even to a nuffer like myself - Thats way too much junk meaningless possessions.

Did I mention this was Essendon who were on a 13 game losing streak.

We only won because we had Dusty , Cotch and Rance.

Did Riewoldt even play yesterday ?

Furthermore this Drugs scandal is going to work in Essendons favour.

Having an entire year to develop and fast track the "second tier" is going to be valuable.

Interesting to see how they go next year .

They will smash it next year!! They would have smashed us yesterday with a full side in.
DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.

Lachy Neale from the dockers was on the radio pregame and they were talking about the dockers season. He said, first preseason game against richmond we won pretty easily and moved the ball well, but 2nd game we played adelaide and they took us apart quite easily with a lot of regulars out, thats when we as a group realised we were a fair way off the pace. Took them 2 preseason games to get that, took us about 12 rounds? Delusion

Sorry Tony but that doesn't make sense.

Dockers beat Adelaide in that match . They also beat Geelong the following week . Dockers won all 3 NAB challenge games.

Me thinks Lachy Neale is rewriting history.

Not at all. He was talking about the way their structures were being broken down and taken apart by an apposition missing a fair few regulars. He specifically said the crows could and probably should have won that one quite easily and that was when they realised as a group they were not where they thought they were
