WP, 3121 membership says "Social Club membership with the ability to head back to the brand new facility at Punt Road after every home game". Giving it's a "entry level into coterie membership" then presumably the coteries will have access to the Social Club included.

Spewing myself. Not that I go to the Social club after games (been just a couple of times) but I was looking forward to see inside the new redevelopment when the new Social club opened.

Don't get me started on the 3121 Membership (which btw was Locker room in 2010) and what they'v done to Coteries for 2011 in particular what was Player Club   :banghead :banghead

Don't worry MT - you'll get to see the new venue - I'll get you in  :thumbsup

A couple of interior pics from The Fighting Tiger magazine....

The football facilities, located on two levels in the new facility, are expected to be ready for use in January 2011. The third level, which will house the Australian Institute for Indigenous Learning & Skills Development (Korin Gamaji Institute), is also expected to be completed early next year.

A friend of mine and RR's scored a tour of the inside of the redevelopment the lucky so-and-so lol.

She said the end of the building at the Brunton Avenue end (below) is the new and much larger Tiger Den shop. So everyone who walks to the 'G and back will pass right by its front entrance.

She also said the main kicking/training room is massive and the Social club looks fantastic.

It's not new, but here is an aerial view from November 20.

MT,

Looking at that aerial view, how is the club planning to enlarge the oval to Etihad size?

At the practice wicket end, I can see how they might expand there, but at Punt Road, are they planning to remove the seats in front of the old stand?  Realign the goals?  Will it still have funny shaped wings/pockets?

I think Muscles it will look something like this using wayne's pic and the ratio of Docklands' dimensions (hard to tell what is exactly 159.5m x 128.5m on the pic).

Thanks for that MT!  I can see it now.  I never thought an Etihad sized oval would fit as easily as that.  I'm also suprised that the current oval is as long as it is.  I always thought it was shortish.  Must be the funny shapes of the pockets after the widening of Punt Road.

I always thought it was short length wise as well Muscles but you're right it must just look deceptively short. Here's the architectual plans btw showing how the reshaped oval is meant to fit.

A couple of pics I took today. Click on them to see the enlarged image.

The whole complex will be finished by the 1st of March. They've still got quite a number of little things to finish throughout the building.

Due to key electrical works being undertaken at ME Bank Centre, Punt Road Oval, this Thursday (February 10), in the final stages of the ground’s major redevelopment, Richmond’s reception area, administration building, membership department, and the Tiger Den merchandise shop, will be closed all day.

Sounds like they are onto the final stretch and on schedule for a March 1 finish.

I walk past it every day and it doesn't look close to finished to me.  :-\

Maybe it just needs a good clean.
