sorry just calling it as it is, which is a broken footballer that has struggled to provide anything to our club. Give a kid a go that wont break down. Plenty of options that havent been given game time down there at vfl level.

Rookie spot is the max we should give this bloke and thats all he deserves IMO.

it's a crap thing the afl has invented. I'm surprised they have not been sued. Afl player association too busy sucking off Albert and little . It's a position where the guy might only get ten mins a game... Best case scenario. If you play a kid like Corey Ellis or Lennon you ruin the development. It's better playing those types the 21 or in the twos

If you play a plodder like Grigg or Newman you get someone with no weapons. Ie. can not run really fast or kick very good. Gordon would be ideal if he was not a headless chock.

I like menadue - cause he is so fast when he only plays 15mins he runs around like a mad dog. But again it's not good for his development to be sub full time?

As for knights specifically I hope he is on the rookie list next year. I think he is classy

He has class when he plays

I did say the same thing about Higgins and look how well he is going so he may surprise us all. I just hate the fact the club wasted their money on these types (Newman, Foley, grigg, Graham) then can't nab an a grader if their life depended on it

Having Knights on our list is a real tease .

A fit Knights will add another dimension to our forward line.

But don't hold your breath.

 upgrade on morris...

Plus he can't find the pill so the sub role gives him an excuse

Not finding the pill hasn't stopped Newman being a walk up start for the last three seasons....or Morris for most of this season...

Yeah and both should be dropped (or in Morris' case moved to the backline where he has actually played decent footy)

Our forward structure must get better.

There is & will be a lot of talk this week about Freo's problem kicking goals but they have more points in their points for column than we do.

Even Stkilda has kicked more points than us.

Friday night we could've blasted the cheating scum out of the park but we squandered the chance with atrocious forward 50 entries all night.
Could only imagine how more productive it would've been if we got a small goal sneak tackling machine like Gartlett when we had the chance.

We need to find more than what we have currently.
My view on us not scoring nearly enough is how we set up with a 7 man back line, leaving us outnumbered in our forwardline on almost every occasion.
Personal is one thing but when we play one short every week it doesn't really matter who is there.
IMO the reason we do this is DH doesn't really trust our backman one on one and IMO it's mostly Houli he doesn't trust to defend properly. If he did we wouldn't need to set up this way every game we play. I have no problem doing it when teams get a run on but to do it each and every game really takes away from our scoring ability. That's why we very rarely have big wins even against the weaker sides.
Up the other end we kick it to the pockets to get stoppages so we can get time to even up in our forwardline. We also set up all bunched up so their loose man isn't just alone to do whatever he likes. Giving our forwards little opportunity to get one on ones with their direct opponents.
How many really easy goals do we get? None! We work really hard for every score and it's even harder when we get our shots from the pockets. We are just lucky we have Jack who can beat a couple of opponents and can kick it straight.
Just my take.
