lol...so many darksiders....
we go from the cusp of getting into the top 4 to dropping out of the 8 because we narrowly let slip a win against a team which has only lost 2 games thus far this year??

wow...just wow.. ::)

Fact is we are one game aabove 10th, or whatever

And we next play the team that just gave Carlton its biggest thumping in 200 years

Why is it the fans fault? Scapegoating won't bring the win back nor does it explain how tight 5-10th is.

Sydney look terrible

I could not give a rats toss bag about tightness of the league I want to won the flag

Its not a charity

The people that are happy to limp into 8th with a bunch of list blockers make me sick

Need to be ruthless. Freo sacked Harvey cause they are fair dinkum

Being 4 premiership points above 9th iisn't good, 10th if Walsh didn't doe isn't anything to wrote home about

Sydney's percentage dropped 6% tonight. So we're now a game and just 1% behind them now.

3: Hawthorn:    12-4-0 - 170%
4: Sydney:       11-5-0 - 112%
5: Richmond:   10-6-0 - 111%
6: W/Bulldogs: 10-6-0 - 106%
7: Adelaide:       9-6-1 - 106%
8: N/Melbourne: 9-7-0 - 102%
--------------------------------------
9: GWS:            9-7-0 - 101%
10: Geelong:      8-7-1 - 98%
11: Collingwood: 8-8-0 - 114%
12: P/Adelaide:   7-9-0 - 98%
13: St.Kilda:      6-10-0 - 90%
14: Essendon:   5-11-0 - 79%
15: Melbourne:   5-11-0 - 77%

Should be 4th tonight, last night hurts us more than the Bulldogs and Demons games earlier in the year

if u're talking about hurting us in terms of our percentage, then the game definitely DID NOT hurt us more than the bulldogs and demons games...
losing by 4 points vs 19 points (bulldogs)  vs 32 points (demons)
if we had to reverse one of those losses to a win.....it's definitely better if we had won the demons game....mathematically...

sentimentally...yes, last night hurt more...but u are just talking about making top4... :whistle

The Swans have Adel (H), Geel (A), Coll (H), GWS (Away derby), St K (A), GC (H)

We have  Haw, Adel (A), GC, Coll, Ess, North (Etihad) ..... all games at MCG unless specified.

We need the Swans to lose one more game than we do. They have Geelong at Simonds which is still tough but in the rest they will start favourites. We need the Crows at the SCG and/or the Giants in the derby at Spotless, to cause an upset if we drop a game or two from here onwards such as the Hawks game or our bogey side North at their home ground Etihad (despite it meaning to being our home game  :banghead). In other words, we most likely will need to win all our remaining games to finish top 4  :-\.

---------

Bulldogs have  Ess, Port, Melb, WCE (A), North, Bris (A)  ....... all games at Etihad unless specified.

The Dogs most likely will lose to the Eagles at Subi. North is 50/50. The rest are winnable.

---------

Adelaide have Syd (A), Rich (H), Ess (A), Bris (H), WCE (H), Geel (A).

Playing Adelaide means we control our own destiny as far as staying ahead of them. In any case, they have a few tough ones on the run home  - Swans and Cats away plus the top 2 Eagles.

Back to the topic.

The run home: Dogs set for September, shrinking Giants and sinking Pies

5. Richmond

40 points (10 wins, six losses) 111.5 per cent

Richmond's tilt at the top-four received a major blow on the weekend in its tight loss to Fremantle. Luckily for the Tigers, the Swans also lost so they remain only a game behind fourth. At least their run home features plenty of MCG action in case they land a home elimination final. Richmond plays four of its next five games at the 'G, with this Friday night's clash with Hawthorn likely to largely decide whether they can remain in contention for a top-four finish or if they will be fighting for fifth or sixth.

The run home:
Rd 18: Hawthorn at the MCG
Rd 19: Adelaide at Adelaide Oval
Rd 20: Gold Coast at the MCG
Rd 21: Collingwood at the MCG
Rd 22: Essendon at the MCG
Rd 23: North Melbourne at Etihad Stadium
