Hopefully today there can be some calm reflection in this particular thread. Some of last nights posts were not measured and off the mark.
Most were accurate, Betts flogged Batch, wake up, Betts played against himself last night and he was he own worst enemy, he killed Batch and this is where in the future we will fail. Batch is not up to playing against quality opposition, should be with his mate Morris!!
I hardly think the plan was for grimes to get subbed off so early and leave Batch to play small on betts.
By the way how often has Betts been held well against tigers? Not often.
Batch does his job every week apparently, well no he doesnt, he was given a job to do and he failed yet again. What the hell does play small mean??
Batchelor is a fringe player imv at best though the selection panel has seen something in him where he has been able to play majority of the season. There has been players who have given less this year though continue to get picked so I'm not suprised he hasn't been dropped.
as for playing small, it's means exactly how it's read.
Batch is 188 cm taking on Betts who is 173 cm and a pure silk small forward.
Tell me who would have done a better job on Betts given the entire team was poor and also who is a better small fwd than betts in the comp?
All these people crying out for Motlop, who isn't a bees dick compared to Eddie Betts.
