If Jimmy loved this club as much as he constantly claimed

He wouldn't have negotiated for the final year of his contract out be paid out

For once it would great if actually put the club first but that's not his way
Not surprising though. Narcissistic to end.


The whole Essendon Board should join him by the way. They've been an utter gutless shambles and giving Jimmy a new two contract after his suspension was the cherry on top of their cake of incompetence. Their inept decision making has cost Essendon millions of dollars in Hird's two payouts and legal costs for nothing but 3-4 years of this mess.

Gave him the extension to spite people and boy oh boy did it bite them in the bum :lol :lol

On SEN earlier, they said there's some rival ticket apparently run by Ron Gauci that wants to overthrow the Essendon board and get Hird back as coach.

Just proves they're still a basketcase of a club :yep.
