Is Mellington only 19? I assumed we picked up that one that used to play for Freo (or maybe he still does?), which would mean he would of been older than that. Not to bad then

This is NICK Mellington, younger brother of JOSH Mellington.
Both playing with Benalla Saints Footy club in 2014/15.
Nick when not playing with Bushies and Richmond as 23rd man last year.
Josh was delisted by Freo in 2013 and played last half of last year with Benalla.
This year Josh has played all year and leads GVFL goalkicking with 79 at 4.94 average.
Benalla second on GVFL ladder ATM.

Yep, Nick goes ok I reckon, a little slow would be my knock on him

His dad drives down from Benalla to most games & I have got to know him a bit, nice fella , he hates Barlow & McQualter a lot !!!

hE BELEIVES mCQUALTER IS TAKING A KIDS SPOT IN THE MIDDLE & ON BALL, I AGREE TO A certain extent, also
McQualter decided not to play in the VFL last week so he could play with his suburban club & therefore qualify for finals, seemed selfish, his words not mine

sorry about caps.

Can confirm McQualter is a fantastic guy and plays an on field coaching role match day. Highly regarded. Mellington shows plenty of promise and looks to be a hard inside mid. Hope we look at picking him up in either draft.

5 scoring shots to 2 but we're trailing at Quarter time:

Richmond   0.5-5
Essendon   1.1-7

Matt McDonough very lively around the contest with 10 disp and 3 clearances.
Gordon had 9 touches.
Dea had 8.

To half time, Matt Dea has 18 touches and 5 marks. McDonough has 16 touches, Arnot 15, McQualter 14, Astbury and Knights both have 13.

Richmond really struggling to convert their efforts around the ball into goals.
