Finals Loss

No chance against North/Crows in the first final at this rate, actually, if we bung this crap on next week expect another 80 point exit.

Better to be mentally switched off and dish up this rubbish at Etihad tonight than next week when it matters.

If we lose what sort of mental state do you think they will be in next week after ten barrage of crap they will cop because they can't beat Norths VFL side?

Oddly enough, we play better and mentally freer when there are no expectations and everyone has written us off.

Why do people always say that after the event, get involved when the thread is raised. Let me tell you something, this thread is more about next week and we cannot afford to dish up the first half crap next week like we did last night or we will be blown out of the water in the first 15 minutes.

They had 9 of their best out and they were 16 points up after half time, do you really think we can be in that position next week???

Just wait until next Sunday WAT, we play better at the G, we also finished off really strongly which was a very positive sign.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Well I hope so but im just not so sure unfortunately. Never mind about finishing off strongly, that wont help us next week. we could finish off strongly next week too but be behind by 60 points. We need a complete game next week and if we dont turn up like last night then its all over again.

Now the Bulldogs and the Crows have both been beaten it makes me think we shouldn't read too much into last night.

Absolutely. Rd 23 generally brings up some odd results. Last night will mean nothing come next Sunday.
