Disappointing...

Coke is out of the system quick, amphetamines, dope longer

They can also ask for hair test, that can show months back, hence why some players come back to preseason with a full body wax and hair shaven

That is why l said depends on the test. But Coke can be in the system over 3 - 6 months That is by lab testing only

Well done to the club for putting the culture first and not caving in to impulse recruiting.  Dodged a bullet I reckon, bit like last year when our due diligence payed off re: Trengove.

Kruz failing a medical at more than 1 club. Tiges are on the verge of a premiership they must be wise in recruiting so the club is stable for along period.

OMFG :o :o :o :o :o :o :o...are you for real, "on the verge of a premiership"...Nah, your taking the pee surely :huh :huh :huh

You don't think we have our window open ? Over the last 3 seasons we have dominated the premiership team. Have dominated other top teams. Of course we are on the verge. Only reason we lost the elimination final was the Roos bruised & injured us in Round 23. Same as West Coast carrying injuries into the GF yesterday. Several of their players were not even 75% Nat being one of them was gone before halftime

:facepalm......You epitomise the RCGG RFC supporter. Really, look at the crap in our team compared to the teams of yesterday, particularly the Hawks..

Wake up mate, unless we trade in decent players and get rid of the crap like all the other clubs do we will be out next year. Honestly, do you think the clubs just below us this year will get better???? I do, we will recruit Yarran and that's it WOW....we are so far in the window its not funny.. :whistle :whistle :whistle

AFL
Richmond pulls out of Harley Bennell trade race
20 minutes ago
Jay ClarkHerald Sun

RICHMOND is out of the race for Gold Coast bad boy Harley Bennell.

The Tigers today confirmed they would not be pursuing the talented but troubled midfielder any further.

No contract offer had been made from Richmond.

It leaves Fremantle as his likely new home.

Richmond did not elaborate on the reasons for its decision, but the Herald Sun understands Bennell, 23, missed a scheduled medical with the Tigers last week.

Bennell last week toured the Tigers’ facility with club leaders including coach Damien Hardwick, captain Trent Cotchin and friend Dustin Martin and was considered a strong chance to join Carlton’s Chris Yarran at Punt Rd

But the Tigers will look elsewhere to help bolster their list on the back of three straight elimination final exits.

Bennell was seen socialising with Martin over the weekend in Melbourne.

Gold Coast has decided to trade Bennell after a string of off-field incidents.

If Harley can't turn up for one medical appointment then what are the odds of him turning up for 25 or so games per season?   :thumbsdown
we only need him for 23 games.

His preference is to go West, could it be possible he has simply intentionally sabotaged being picked up by the one Melbourne club really serious about taking him.

The clubs in WA are known for being dodgy and getting into players' ears to end up back home(or staying home via the draft).

uum no thats incorrect. We lost because we still play like a bunch of scared school kids when on the big stage for the 3rd year in a row.

Yarran added to the mix being one of the softest players in the league, will only make things worse.

@shanemcinnes: Harley Bennell overheard on Grand Final night telling mates it's a done deal with Fremantle.
