Back on topic - as op has indicated the reason I hate grigg so much is he is deadset poo.  He doesn't kick overly well, he can be amazingly soft and has very little defensive side to his game

Starting him in the square or as a primary tagger is the cherry on top

If hard wick at least dropped him when in bad knick instead of ring some sort prodigal son type it's be more understandable. Bit of a joke to view him as a cornerstone
