Was better yesterday. Still can't help but think he's a less athletic Dan Jackson. Nice seeing him crunch some blokes though.

Pfft...Townsend at least looks a genuine midfield enforcer, not a plastic one like Hackson was......

Looks like he could be an asset to Tigerland. Time will tell though.

Laid a couple of crushing tackles within a minute in the third quarter. I haven't seen tackling like that from a tiger since Tim Fleming.

Looks like he has a bit of filling out + maturing to do despite being a solid build already. Will be interesting to see how he turns out.

Maybe Tuck MKII?

Havent watched the NAB cups fully so may be making the same half assed assumption as Dad usually does but I reckon I have seem Townsend kick almost a handful of absolutely shocking kicks

Looks genuinely hard at it
Then he grabbed two chopsticks and stuck them in his mouth , pretending to be a walrus

Agreed

If fit for round 1 shpuld play

Prefer hom over Moore, who hasn't impressed me at all but early days

As expected, new recruit, Jacob Townsend was concussed after hitting his head in a tackling contest in the third quarter of last night’s match, but is expected to recover fully and be available for selection in Round 1.

Moore's played like that since 2010...hardly "early days".....

Tis true but I think he's one of those players that, if he does mostly good, you're going to have to take some bad moments. Had some real clean looking clearances, seemed to work well with the ruckman

Reminds me of jacko, will get better with experience , goes hard , must improve on his head first tackling , will only come to harm doing that
