This thread just shows how much some  overrate our own.
Would take him as a defender over Batchelor evry day of the week.
As far as him being  a forward goes well we dont have a similar type of player who is  better.  Maybe Lennon if he stays but he has a bit to prove yet, your list needs more than just one player who can perform a role surely everybody has learnt that simple lesson by now.

He is the perfect upgrade for Batchelor. Can play tall or small to a lot higher standard than Batch will ever reach.

How does not rating Howe translate into overrating our own? The bloke's a stuffing spud with one trick who regularly goes missing for large portions of games and that's pretty much the widely held view in most football circles, not just amongst a few shytekickers on a Richmond message board. He apparently also thinks he's worth 650 k a year...

Even funnier is wanting to swap the status quo for the same standard of crap.

serous question.
how does troy chaplin change a damn thing about Howe?

maybe you are just desperate for another player to slag off at at every opportunity?

Can see Howe going to the Hawks and becoming another ex Melbourne player with a premiership medal.
Some clubs just get the best out of people because the standards demand it.
The club that keeps giving.

yes, and sometimes hacks pick up a premiership medallion hanging off the coat tails of others because they are in the right place at the right time.

Mitch Morton says hi, with a cheshire cat like grin

Hawks already have a Howe, they don't need two.....
