It's one thing to have Ellis in our best 22 but does that say more about him or more about the lack of quality with the last few picked in our side each week?

If we picked up an early first rounder or it was part of a big fish trade then adios Ellis. Alas, we still have him!!

To be honest, I wouldn't care if we traded ANYBODY out of the team if it meant an UPGRADE on the player we were trading out. So I think the question is a bit loaded towards the no option.

x 2

With disclaimer as there is 6 blows I wouldn't trade under any circumstances

But if trading say an Ellis B gets you a Treloar or picks 1-5 in the draft then you'd be mad not to take it. Ellis B has currency, you trade those with currency if it gets you better quality

Yes I am saying Treloar is better player than Ellis B. By a long way

Yeah lets never trade anyone half-decent.....I'm sure the other clubs will gladly just hand over guns & high picks for our duds & fringe players....

Trade for Townsend... Yes I mind.

Trade for Dangerfield... No I don't.

Poorly worded question. All of Dusty, Cotch, Lids and Jack are tradeable.

Yep, pretty poor thread with no real purpose. Too many variables so there it's impossible to answer and gain anything from

It's a crap thread because it's a loaded question- take your bias out of it.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

IMO once Ellis hits the 25yo mark he is going to be a very damaging player.
That said If the magoos could actually play a good brand of footy then there might actually be some competition for spots but under Clarke it was poothetic.
The possibility of physical and mental collapse is now very real. No sympathy for the Devil, keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride.
