I am sicking of seeing jokes about a guy who got knocked out cold and had to be taken away in an ambulance. It's not funny and just because you don't like the sport doesn't mean you should make jokes when someone gets hurt. Think about what his family would have been thinking when he hit the deck and needed a stretcher. FFS. It's not funny at all
FFS the joke was not of him getting hurt. Read it carefully. At no stage did I make a statement inferring that it was funny that he got hurt. You guys say a lot worse about a lot of players that are mentioned on these boards.
As if I don't realise head injuries aren't funny. I've actually treated many patients with serious head injuries some of them fatal and yes it's not funny. I've seen the personal anguish of families losing their loved ones many times. It's gut wrenching. So STFU about giving holier than though opinions when you have NFI of what I think or feel.
And I reiterate, Tuck voluntarily put himself into a situation that meant there was always a reasonable risk of this occurring. It is stupid IMHO. Not that he deserves it because nobody does. But people need to take responsibility of their own actions and if he was that stupid to put himself in danger, he and his family should realise he should never do this again. Hopefully there are no residual effects from this incident and he can move on, much the wiser.
