Yep. He’s been great.
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

Nathan Broad handled the extra responsibility within the team in splendid style, finishing the match with 22 disposals, an equal team-high eight marks, three rebound-50s, six intercepts and 306 metres gained.

Richmond coach Adem Yze acclaimed Broad during his post-match press conference.

“His form across the whole night was terrific. And it was the first time he captained the Club, which is a credit to him,” Yze said.

“He’s come a long way, ‘Broady’. He’s such a good leader around our footy club and he sets the standard, on and off the track. And he’s in great form.

“So, he kept toiling away, he kept trying different things, and he kept leading really well.

“Unfortunately, we couldn’t get the win for him while he was skipper.”

One of his worst -nearing the end with the cliff fast approaching. Still turns in the odd good one but been mostly poor this year.  :shh

Was ordinary the majority of last year.

If we wanted to find out about Blight/Gray we'd drop Broad and bring in one of those 2. Balta can play loose. Far more damaging by foot and better in the air

Yeah wasn't great last year either, was being generous because he strung a few good ones together at the back end IIRC. :shh

Balta should play loose with bursts in the ruck - and use that big hoof of his to clear the zones more often, especially when we get hemmed in the D50 for long periods. :shh :shh

I think Broad has been solid this year.

But yesterday was so bad I wonder if we tanked it, seriously.

He's runs around by himself in a nick Maxwell role and hasn't done well half of the time. He's not going well. This year or last with the exception of the odd game

At the end of the day he will be going around one more year after this. Not a bad thing imo.
