Yarran still 5 to 7 weeks? WTF, I thought that was the original prognosis.

Wish the club would just stop bullshitting as it helps nobody.

Astbury test?

Astbury was just on Ch7 news, walking with no limp

Said likely to play this week

Looks like it was only a rolled ankle

Same, Astburys been ok and worth persevering with, just needs to work on not losing his opponent so easily in traffic

Wtf with Yarran? Club can go and get stuffed. Just give us the truth and stop keeping us hanging. I hate hoping that Lids may have been back by rnd 2, that Yaz may be back by rnd 6. Just tell us as it is and we resign ourselves to the fact and move on. I get more peeed at the angst of hoping they may be right bc some wanker at the club has said he could've played this week, he'll be right for next week

Lol Elton is the only other option on the list.  If Astbury did not come up who was going to take his place.Talls at Richmond what talls.
Only at Richmond would you  go into a season with the kpds they have and expect to make top 4. Same is true for the tall forwards.

Lmfao they tried to trade Astbury out last year and you seriously have to ask yourself would they even have tried to take a kid to take  his spot on the list. hows that for list management.

Good point. If he was injured I'd still have played Todd. The guy has stagnated in the twos. Saw him play some good games last year in the twos when our senior defence was good and could not break in. When he did get a chance Derwood (sorry Dio) played him on the best forward at the time in Cloke who was in form then. Why not bring him in and play him on the third tall as a starter? This years form has not warranted a call up but he has banked points IMHO from last year where he wasn't rewarded.
However if Astbury comes up, he stays in the magoos.

Yer I agree about the club feeding us sh!7 about our injured players. I think that is the least they could do with what we all put up with and the money we tip in. We are not asking for game plans or secrets about the opposition, we just want to know when we can expect to see our players back.
You cannot tell me the club doctors didn't know that Yaz and Lids wouldn't be playing by now. And if they didn't then we should get better people.
Do they think by saying "he should be right next week" it sells more memberships? Do they think it confuses the opposition? What?
Stop treating us like DHeads and show some class.

Agree BT
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.
