Just read the AFL pre game review for this game. They have tipped the Dee's by 24 points.

Also mentioned how some players went in the VFL. Apparently Batchelor was "steady" down back for his 19 possessions. "Steady" in the VFL, wow smashing the door down... :clapping
DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.

To be fair it was 16 kicks, 3 handballs, 11 marks, 4 tackles 2 inside fifties and 6 rebound fifties.
Not too shabby an afternoon from a half back flanker.

I'm not a huge fan but he is depth and should come in on performances like that with Grimes still out.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

Watts is a different player to Waite. He plays more as a medium mobile player even though he is tall. Waite takes quite few pack marks. Watts very few. Batch just matches up better on a bloke like that. I would have put Grimes on Watts if he was ok but that's not an option.
