Outs Rance (suspended), Jack (injured), Townsend, Houli, Ellis (Cory) all dropped
Cory needs to find form and confidence in the 2's.
Houli needs a few weeks in the 2's.

I'd give Brandon Ellis, Ty Vickery and Grigg a last chance but make it clear once they are out - it's not a week in the 2's / it's a stint.
I would give Morris the one role he is good at which is the best small forward - people talk about others being crucified by the coach. This bloke can sit on another's tail inside 50 and harass him out of the game. These other roles have confused his football.
I am hoping Lids and Vlas are fit / put them in.
My instincts say McBean and play Ty up the field and hope that both step up  :pray
Then I'd bring back Lennon to play high half forward and Elton to replace Rance.

You would give Morris another go...FFs... :facepalm....just..... :facepalm....You wonder why some have a go at you. This is just another example of people accepting the rubbish we have, Morris is finished, the sooner people like you and the club realise it we may actually be able to move forward. But while everyone and the coaching staff still think players like Morris and Batch are of any with them=n we will remain at the bottom.

Also, instead of playing C Ellis on half back where the ball is constantly and we are under so much pressure, why not put him forward or try him in the center or rotating on the wing. No, lets play him where he can get flogged and then drop him...really!!

Drop

B Ellis
Morris
Batchelor
Houli

They are the ones that a clear message needs to be sent to. Morris and Batch should never return if we are serious.

I don't wonder, it's a forum and I expect people to have a different view  :huh
I think Morris can sit on an annoying small forward. He hasn't done that consistently since 2014. I'd rather him in that role than Vlas and Grimes is injured.
Ellis C looks down on confidence - just give him some time in the 2's to regain it.
Agree on Batch but I'm sick of this drop a player after one week - revolving doors selection isn't going to win games or instill confidence in the playing group.
Agree on B Ellis but just think 5 changes is enough for a week, if they wanted to make a 6th change I'd agree with you.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Unless the AFL change the sliding rule, Morris is never going to be as effective as he was again....

Still I'd like to see him given one last chance to play as a lockdown small defender with no more experiments. Apart from grimes who I'd prefer on leading medium talks, we have no one else even remotely capable of locking down small fwds.

While we're at it, I'd also like to see Hunt given the opportunity to play exclusively as a tagger. Anyone that's played sport as a defender or tagger understands the mindset involved, I'm convinced he's lost his edge since he came here because our dumbarse brains trust have filled his head with notions of grandeur that "he has so much more to offer us than that". Give them both one last chance to do what they do best and if at seasons end they aren't good enough, then move them on.

It's the only way I'll even contemplate going if George gets a run.

I hope I see more than what I saw in the pre season games.

Yeah me too

I am hoping we see him play more that 40 odd minutes, which was the total of his preseason campaign  ::)
