Morris and Batch again..... :rollin
Great aint it. No gray wingard or even white and they will both still make the keystone cops look serious.Gotta love the battlers eh always good for a bit of light relief.

Yeah watch this spot. They will probably pick up a few kicks this week and everyone will be singing their praises, until the week after when they are back to their usual against the Hawks!!!
DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.

Would love to hear Dimsim explain the reasoning behind Morris being selected.

 :wallywink

The possibility of physical and mental collapse is now very real. No sympathy for the Devil, keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride.

Well he did say that after he dropped Miles he came back better. Maybe his argument is that he knows Morris can't come back any better... :whistle
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

Great to see TWO ruckman playing
Will allow Vickery to play permanent forward
Tiges by 5 goals
No. One ruckman and one guy who can tap the ball and do nothing else useful around the ground. So unless he runs off after the tap, we are one man down effectively when he is on the field.

Hampson form was solid
Hope he kicks 4 goals this week to stick it up a few of the posters here

Based on his steel traps for hands, cat like agility and laser precision kicking?

Who is picking the side? Hardwick's Mrs?
Why bolster the ruck stocks to combat Port's fearsome ruckman who has a grand total of 1 game of AFL experience.

Reckon they planned for Lobbe playing

Just like they would have planned for Wingard playing, hence Morris (not that I agree with that theory)

Simple

He was selected to play on Gray or Wingard depending on match ups

2016 was always planned to play 2 ruckman each week
At least we can see what Vickery can do as a permanent forward

This is quite possible. Realising Port are not playing Lobbe, they might drop Hampson from the team and bring in George. Or drop Morris and play George instead. :pray

No reason to play Morris, would have to be rated at 396th of the players picked for all teams this week. Surely a late change coming otherwise we need to immediately launch a review into team selection.

If Dimma played each player in their best position we might win and Stevie might play ok.
Dusty might win some contested ball and kick multiple goals.
Ellis might run and carry
Vickery might sag off the back of a pack and kick a couple of sneaky ones.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Late change whispers: Tigers may drop one of Maric or Hampson (H-Sun)
« Reply #59 on: April 29, 2016, 02:59:26 PM »
Herald-Sun saying we may make a late change and drop one of Maric or Hampson, given Port will only be playing one ruckman.

-------------------------------------------------

RICHMOND star Jack Riewoldt will play despite a rolled ankle limiting his impact late in last week’s loss to Melbourne.

Riewoldt spent off the ground in the second half but returned to the field in the last quarter after rolling his ankle in a marking contest.

The Tigers spearhead is expected to play in Saturday night’s crunch clash with Port Adelaide after being carefully managed through the week.

Brett Deledio is likely to spend more time deep in attack in his first game back from a debilitating quad injury.

Deledio only graduated to kicking full-size Sherrins — over 40m — a fortnight ago after being limited to children’s footballs early in the recovery process.

But Richmond could be tempted to drop a big man and inject more run with Dougal Howard the sole ruckman in Port Adelaide’s team after Matthew Lobbe’s relegation to SANFL duties.

Ivan Maric played his first game of the season last week after a long lay off battling back problems, while Shaun Hampson — one of two Tiger inclusions this week — missed with a calf complaint.
