We'll be lucky to win another game this year and it's not in our interests to finish higher up the ladder, but perversely, with North in free fall, we could still fall into the top 8 if we were to win 5 of the remaining six games :snidegrin.

Or Ninth, remember we want to shape the Eight this year.  :shh

DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.

Bump

Despite the mods best attempts to derail/twist the thread (it was never about making finals ::)) you can all hopefully see what I was talking about. It was obvious Dimma had had enough and decided to forget last year and make sure we were poised to continue our improvement this year and boy has it worked so far :clapping

Most of us credit the huge improvement in team tactics to the new assistant coaches as they are the ones that have brought in the new ideas. Kudos to Dimma in at least accepting their input.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

I think a few people are putting the tail before the dog. Dimma found people that could implement his ideas, not the other way around :shh

Yeah I dont think so - his arm had to be twisted to get rid of his previous assistants. To try and claim that he and he alone sourced his new assistants is laughable

Of course he didn't do it purely alone. But to think he didn't have a say in getting rid of them and finding new ones is the truly laughable thing.

Poor Dimma, if we won it this year he'd be the most unheralded coach of all time.

Saying that, Dad reckons Tony Jewell couldn't coach a peanut to be salty.

If Richmond win the flag there will be interesting discussion on here regarding Hardwick.
