even with those three we struggled to win. 3 experienced players and one draft wont fix the list. keep on saying it next yr we are more likely to miss finals than make them even if we get 3 mature players and draft well in the nd.

experience, games played overall quality and depth says so.
look at the list the players and where each player is  at. be honest and expectations will drop. 25 30 are not currently up to afl standard a lot of them have been there for yrs and will never get there. some have potential and may get there astbury arnot helbig etc but atm they are not up to the standard and may not be next yr you have to develop them first. brandon ellis has played every game his performances have barely been up to standard but he shows enough to suggest with further deveolpment he will be a good pick up.

the thing is there are a fair share of other sides in the same boat as us.

Ok, so with 2 very good players, 1 star, trade period for more experience and the draft we are still stuffed next year????

Not sure how not wanting Cloke equates to us wanting Vickery? Keep drawing that bow.

If you want to talk stats, guess who is averaging more goals, marks inside 50, contested marks and even stuffing tackles this year :shh. In fact Vickery averaged more goals per game than Cloke last year and essentially the same the year before (1.9 v 2.0 in 2014 when Vickery played half the amount of games due to injury). But good for you, using totals when you know they'd be skewed because Cloke played more games than Vickery every year (especially 2014).

But stats mean nothing, ey WAT? FFS everyone can see the moneyball poo didn't work yet for some reason you guys still want to go down that path :banghead
