Big week for selection committee
« on: June 06, 2016, 08:32:59 PM »
Will be very interesting to see what changes are made.  Obviously there will be forced changes but quite simply players have to be dropped this week for youth.   Perfect week to make a statement.

Personally I think they will chicken out and go safe option.

Safe option will happen with a winnable game coming up.

Dimma won't want to lose this, there will be no risks at the selection table.
And you may not think I care for you

If he hasnt dropped vickery and bellis prior to thjis why would he start razing them now? He knew with the injuries there will be a raft of changes - just playing the media and the supporters lip service. This bloke plays Wallace on a break, major troll and finally the media are picking up on it and starting to publicly uestion some of the crap that is coming out

Saw that Hardwick was at the VFL game and thought that he was looking closely at the kids.
Then realised that if he wanted to he could simply do the usual:
Chaplin in for Grimes
Maric for Griffith
Conca for Morris
Menadue for Vlastuin.

Makes me think that maybe he was given a message from O'Neil and Gale after the weekend that finals are done and we need to look at the kids.
Maybe he always goes to the VFL and I'm only seeing it on the TV. Who knows?
May well be a clue come selection time.
If he goes away from what I've put above then I think he definitely got a message.

He is always there unless there is a clash, he watches @ PRO from the balcony

All the Coaches are generally there, on Sunday I saw Truck Ruttem, Ross Smith , both Mark Williams, Greg Mellor , Lade & Dimma

Dimma will not play youth for development until it is mathematically impossible to make the eight. I know this as fact.

So we need to stop barking about it because it isn't going to happen just yet.

On the plus side, he is keen to elevate both Callum Moore and Mabior Chol. Oleg will debut soon too. Those are the three that he sees have bright futures. :shh

Oleg is miles off IMO. You?
C. Moore could be anything, elevate him now and play him. His form has been good over the last couple of weeks and it was just too wet on Sunday to be influential.  Be daring RFC.

I don't think Oleg is ready too. Hardwick doesn't either but will play him when finals are impossible.
Interestingly, Hardwick doesn't think Rioli is ready too.....
He feels he has to play him because we need forward pressure and we are one of the worst teams in the league in applying it, hence Rioli gets a game.
They will elevate the two rookies, Moore and Chol at some point too when finals are out of the equation. :shh

Rioli isn't ready. But happy enough to see him getting a game. He still needs to be dropped if his efforts drop. Play Edwards as a permanent small forward. Forget about him as a mid.

We desperately need to find another KPF so why not start now with Moore.
