Enough with the childish and petty insults

Final warning and you know who you are.

If i have to SNIP your baiting of each other and pot shot at each other again then you will receive a strike.

The Barometer - Round 18

Herald-Sun
18 July 2016

RICHMOND

ON THE BLOCK:
It’s all about Brett Deledio, who didn’t reappear after halftime on Saturday after tightening up in a calf. He’ll have scans early this week and while the Tigers say it’s rubbish to suggest he’ll be warehoused for next year, why would they take any risks with their matchwinner who will need to be cherry ripe for Round 1, 2017? Liam McBean barely touched it against the Bombers and Connor Menadue had his quietest game since returning to the senior side but both should get another crack against the Hawks (gulp).

ON THE CUSP: The VFL side had a bye but you’d think Damien Hardwick would be keen to get some senior games into Ben Lennon before the end of the season. Ty Vickery is waiting for a recall.

FORECAST: With finals out of the equation the glimpses of the future — this week it was Daniel Rioli’s turn — and Dustin Martin’s Brownlow push are the reasons to watch the Tigers. Hawthorn doesn’t tag so expect another big Dusty game after picking up 35, 32, 38 and 43 disposals in his past four matches (and hope the umps give him more credit than Mark Maclure). Richmond has a good recent record against the Hawks and led in the third term in Round 7 before losing by 46. Are the Hawks due for a downer? #clutchingatstraws

12 possessions with 65% game time for a fourth game player.

Not bad for someone who hardly got near it.

Do these reporters actually watch these matches.

In the Mix: Round 18

RICHMOND

Vice-captain Brett Deledio will be given until the end of the week to prove his fitness after being withdrawn at half-time against Essendon with calf soreness. He was cleared of major damage during lunchtime scans on Monday but caution could dictate he is rested.

Reece Conca is his likely replacement after being omitted against the Bombers, but the Tigers could also choose to expose more new players, with mature-age rookie Adam Marcon deserving of a chance.

The VFL team had a bye at the weekend so tall forward Ty Vickery did not have a chance to press for a recall.

Neither did midfielder Nathan Drummond or half-forward Ben Lennon, but both will be discussed for senior selection over the next fortnight.

Defender Bachar Houli looks set to resume with limited match time in the VFL after 10 matches sidelined with a wrist injury.
