Keep Hampson and Hunt in though

You have better options ?
Answer that for you . NO
Even though he made some bad mistakes yesterday
Hunt at least keeps running
Watching yesterday there were players who just refused to run and chase
Hunt stays , plenty to go before him
I like Anthony Miles and Brando
But you can't just jog off after the opposition

Taylor Hunt = more turnovers than the Sara Lee factory
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

I understand what you are saying Jack but we shouldn't be playing guys who are never ever going to make it in the long run. Taylor hunt has no chance in playing in a winning finals team let alone a premiership team. Wise heads down at Geelong realised that. Why can't we?

I think people a re plugging that it is a perfect opportunity to play the kids at senior level and we're not. Castagna got dropped after one poor performance against Hawthorn but he had several senior mates who performed just as badly. George has a future, we need to give him senior game time. Guys like Butler (who again was named in the best) haven't even had a chance to show what they have. Menadue was dropped and needs senior game time. Elton also played well in the twos this week. Elevate a guy like Chol and play him.

Doing this may mean we lose by 87 points but I'd rather lose with young guys playing rather than losing by the same amount with senior guys, who have continually failed when the pressure was on and are now clogging the list.

Problem is any more losses like yesterday and no player in the comp would want to come to
the RFC
Need to be competitive

Not true. If they see you are playing youth, they'll understand. Look at the saints. They were getting flogged playing youth yet players still wanted to go to them (Carlisle). Now they've improved considerably they look miles ahead of us.

We also need major changes in the football department. Not many players will want to play the crap style we play so change needs to happen and needs to happen this week!

I dunno if this makes sense but i honestly couldnt care who plays.

I mean, i prefer the kids, but our coach who selects the team cant even exercise a level of common sense that the average guy on the street would.

And at the end of the day we'll be stuck with whoever he picks and we will barrack for a win that wont happen, and competativeness that wont be there.

I dont care anymore.

Its round 19 - we are who we are - and thats a very ordinary team .

Media are starting to smell blood so another thrashing could be in the best interest of those who desire change.( which I think is everyone )

You say this yet want to drop Drummond and Rioli. Both were willing to bust a gut running (Rioli in particular) and Drummond laid some nice tough tackles

Agree. If we keep playing Hampson, Hunt, Grigg we will pay the price including with reduced memberships. This is the perfect chance to play youth. Give them a proper chance and give them valuable experience.

You know something
You have hit the nail on the head
That's the problem
I ain't interested in tackles and defensive efforts garbage
I want players who can crumb the ball , win the ball in dispute and NOT the third result in a tackling which we are hopeless at anyway
Both Drummond and Rioli clearly not up to yesterday
Might be in 2 two seasons time
But pointless players being lead to the ball by there opposition to have them try and attempt a tackle which we don't do well anyway
When was the last time a small forward stood at the front of the pack and won the ball ?
Dont let the club PR cloud your judgment now

Short did in his first match , then got dropped two matches later before returning in the backline....

...anyway good to know you don't think having blokes who tackle is important...no wonder you rate Hamspud, Grigg & Hunt....
