Think we need a few changes but guess they will bring in Lambert for Drummond and that's it folks. Would love to see Butler given an opportunity and yes Marcon was unlucky to be dropped.

And Conca for Lennon or some garbage like that

I'm starting to understand that there is no hope. We're poop and we're destined to be poop for eternity.
I have arrived at the acceptance stage.

OUT:
Ty - already gone so what is the point
Grigg - trade him out
Ellis - trade him out
Hunt - back up only
Drummond - not so sure he can make it but looks like he needs a rest or he can play VFL level

IN
Elton - needs to play the last 2 games and more.....can play IMO
Griffiths - better option than Ty
Butler - replace Drummond and needs to be rewareded. Good fight back as he looked lost and way off the mark the first part of the year. IMO only
Menadue - Can ply so just play him every week. Much better future than Grigg and Ellis
Lambert - Play him as a MID as this is what he does best

The Barometer - Round 22

Herald-Sun
15 August 2016

RICHMOND

ON THE BLOCK:
Only broken hearts in the Richmond dressingroom after an agonising defeat at the hands of Geelong in Jack Riewold’ts 200th game on Sunday. The Tigers were plucky, but ultimately the result reflected the side’s season at large. Ben Lennon was scratchy in his return to the seniors, but it would be a harsh call to drop the kid with two rounds to go given his paucity of match time so far this season.

ON THE CUSP:
Reece Conca (hamstring) and Ben Griffiths (groin) were on the brink last week, so would likely come in to consideration for Saturday’s MCG clash with St Kilda. The Tiges will be gearing themselves for one last 2016 assault this weekend given the last round is a daunting assignment against a minor premiership-hunting Sydney at the SCG. As such, strong performers in Sunday’s VFL win against the Cats such as Conca and Corey Ellis will make a habit of walking past coach Damien Hardwick’s office door this week.

MATT WINDLEY’S FORECAST:
Despite the loss, you can’t imagine Hardwick swinging the axe brutally in retaliation given his side’s promising efforts in the first three quarters at the MCG. And given the fact there were no injuries to come out of the game, one wouldn’t be surprised to see the “No Change” sign appear on Richmond’s teamsheet on Thursday night.

The Mix - Round 22

RICHMOND

While blooding kids has been the mantra at Punt Road recently, the time may have come to put some of the club's most impressive youngsters on ice. If the decision is made to manage players such as Oleg Markov and Daniel Rioli, there are form players in the VFL waiting for an opportunity.

Kane Lambert
has produced two outstanding performances, racking up 37 and 35 possessions in the past two weeks.

Adam Marcon also responded well to being sent back to the VFL, finishing with 29 possessions, two goals and 11 tackles at the weekend.

Reece Conca had 27 disposals but came off late in the final term with a corked thigh.

Key forward Ben Griffiths will need to prove his fitness after missing last week with a groin injury.
