Didn’t they say his brother is a lot better?? (AFL)

That was the word from when he was around 12-14 though haven't heard much recently....pretty sure he's at least taller... :shh

I get that in these interviews players are trying to sell themselves to prospective suitors

Really Patrick? Contested footy wasn't a massive strength of yours? Really no kidding. I don't think you need to tell anyone that,, anyone who watched you would know that

Personally I think his delisting will be a mistake.

Didn’t take his chances - Baker, Balta, Bolton and Jack Graham are all in his era and made their mark. He was unable to …. for whatever reason.
Had 6 games this year and I felt had he remained we would’ve seen RCD, Hugo and even Jack Ross overtake him.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

'There's no guarantees for Patrick, it's a really tough time to be a delisted free agent with smaller list sizes, but we've spoken to a couple of clubs and we're really hopeful.'

- Nick Gieschen on Patrick Naish @Connors_Sports

"Just told him to not die wondering with this. Naishy is training really hard over this break, running coaching that Giesch has teed him up with. He's pro-active, he's gone out of his way to contract list managers and coaches."

St Kilda is looking to two ex-AFL players as possible reinforcements for the list spot opened up by Nick Coffield’s ACL.

Former Tiger wingman Patrick Naish and former Power defender Jarrod Lienert will train with the Saints in the next fortnight @7NewsMelbourne @7AFL

Naish on SEN WA:

“I finished up with Richmond at the end of last year, went out on pretty good terms. They were pretty open with what I need to improve on, probably my playing style didn’t fit Dimma’s (Hardwick) sort of play I guess,” Naish told SEN WA’s Scotty and Goss.

“(That) is completely fine, he’s the coach so I can’t really argue with that.

“Then I signed at Norwood in the SANFL, previously I’ve had conversations with the Eagles (but) it was pretty hard to get me over here.

“So I thought I was going to play for Norwood Footy Club, which was unreal, I spent about six weeks over in Adelaide and loved my time training with the boys there.

“Then I got invited down to training with the Saints, probably four weeks ago now, and had two and a half weeks there.

“Then the borders opened over here and I was literally on the first flight over here to train with the Eagles.

“It’s been a bit of a whirlwind but I wouldn’t change it for the world, I’m pretty excited with the Eagles.”

“I think Simmo (Simpson) helped a fair bit with that,” Naish stated.

“He sort of just wanted me to go out and play footy, he felt my strengths were good enough to be on the list in the end and I sort of saw it as an opportunity to go play footy.

“I felt like I did play my role for the team on Sunday night, Simmo was pretty good during the week. Not getting too stuck in the structures and everything, because obviously, I’d been there three days, he was just keen for me to go play footy and have fun, which I did, I loved Sunday night.”

Good luck to him. Still think he's a bruise free magoos player. Dime a dozen.

Should put him on our VFL list if no afl team wants him and he’s keen for it.
