"Polo was a noticeable player up forward."

I think thats a good sign, Dimma playing him in the correct position. Always thought he should be a forward not a half back flanker.

Great report by SS and thanks for the link OE. SS is a very good source and speaks fact from what I have known of him in the past, so it's very encouraging to read a report coming from him, sounds like we have a bit of cattle to work with down there.

Contin is my smokie to make a decent impression in 2010. Maybe a good cheap option for dreamteamers.

Just watched his video again on the RFC site, he does look good.

Been training as a forward most of the pre season. ;)

How is Mitch Morton going? I read that he has bulked up considerably and is looking the goods. Sending bullett passes off to Newman at training last week or the week before.

Anyone think he is in for a big season? I think so and hope so. He is brilliant to watch, at times he just has this uncanny ability.

Any goss for my on Number 20? :thumbsup

Just got back from training at a very pleasant Craigieburn.

It was my first time at training this pre-season

I am intrested to see what regular watchers of training thought of today's session before I get to carried away   ;D

Because I have to admit that I am not sure what to make of it to be honest. I came away a bit ... I don't know what the right word would be ... ;D

For mine the very good.... =

Very happy to see Hardwick stop training and get stuck into them for not following the rules (words I cannot repeat here as this is a family site  ;D)

Happy to see the kids running around ...

Have to say Dustin Martin is going to be a GUN  :yep :yep

Rapt to see Cotchin taking part in the match type drills and training with the main group

But not happy with some of the foot skills though...  :banghead

Running laps of the main oval was Jackson and White

In the re-hab group on the other oval were Simmonds, Thursfield, Nason, and a few others who I couldn't recognise from where I was watching main training. Noticed that McGuane wasn't training either was Foley

Have a couple of photos that I will post later

In the re-hab group on the other oval were Simmonds

It said in yesterdays HUN that Simmonds sprained an ankle a couple of weeks back in an incident with Vickery. Vickery fell across it.

Yes Con65 - it does. The talking amongst the group is something that certainly stands out

Absolutely agree with the "shank" disposal. Some of the kicking to a man was poor. Missing targets from 20 metres away when under no pressure was one of the things that bothered me... There were a couple of usual suspects but also a couple of the newbies that really need to work harder

As for the game plan - at times I thought they went far too wide when they made the transition out of the back 50. But hey that may just be me - I hate that style of footy. Hardwick did pull one player up for it I must admit  ;D

Gourdis at FB was interesting - he was on Jack and I thought Jack had his measure.

Polo as a leading target across HF seemed to work well.

Edwards looked alot more at ease across HB than he did in 2009

Without Simmo in the ruck we seem to be lacking there at the moment.

Oh yeah Roberts went off with what looked like a calf injury
