A training report from yesterday's session from 'herewegotigers' on Y&B

http://www.yellowandblack.com.au/forum/showpost.php?p=308002&postcount=847

The tigers trained at punt road today whilst practicing some match stimulation then splitting into three groups.

Whatever it takes to win i guess, but i would much rather them have match simulation.  :rollin

I know which one is most likely to give you a happy ending, though.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Not true says Chutney - Club knows exactly where young Alroy is  ;) ;D

They do indeed know where he is..at home in WA to sort out personal issues.

I just got back from training. The squad consisted of 29 players, which obviously will have to be cut to 22. In numerical order, those training were:
Thursfield-Deledio-Simmonds-Polak-Riewoldt-Cotchin-(did 85% of the light session)-Edwards-Polo-Farmer-McGuane-Newman-Rance-Connors-Morton-Jackson-Collins-Nahas-Hislop-Vickery-Tambling-Thomson-Cousins-White-Martin-Griffiths-(yep,he did the full session)-Astbury(ditto)-Moore-Nason-Roberts.
The group trained for just under an hour, getting around to end-to-end stuff, and finishing with goalkicking. After the others had gone in Astbury Griffiths and Collins stayed out with someone I was told was a rehab trainer, and kept passing and competing with one another in a wide circle for another 15-20 minutes.
More good news I was given, was that Nathan Foley was running, kicking and twisting and turning yesterday, and looked really solid. :thumbsup

Did anyone besides cotchin not do the whole session, or look restricted in their training RR?

No, it was only a light session as you'd expect, and everybody got through it. The really good news was that Astbury and Griffiths both did the full session.

which i suppose suggests that a player deemed unfit to play tomorrow could have got through the session ok to.

As we play the Doggies Sunday twilight  :P I would say the last session would be next Saturday morning. Not sure where (possibly Punt Rd) or if it will be open to the public. No info on the RFC site yet.
