Thats what you call setting an example, new club last season, proved himself with some solid football and then does his utmost to take it to a new level instead of being content.

Yep, spot on TM.
Ditto, and equally impressive is Ellis and Arnot up there in the time trial after just being drafted 2 months ago!  :thumbsup :cheers

Sorry to be the darksider for a change, but is it impressive for our newbies, or an indictment on our previous players?

Actually, questions asked is better indication of intelligence than answers given...

This is general statement not specific, i might add  ;D

Houli should be fit, if the rest of us lived his lifestyle we would be as well.

Will be judged on the footy field alone.

Probably indicates the difference in workload/training plans for the 1st year players and others.  The 1st year players are probably fresher and doing more running to build endurance in any case.

Matt Hornsby said that many of the senior players ran PBs today.

Newman notched up a PB after 12 years in the system.
Houli had a PB as well in finishing first.
Looks like Ellis has walked into the club ready-made for senior footy.

Hornsby is on my list of blokes I want gone now along with March, Cameron, Riewoldt and possibly Cotchin.
