So we give Dusty an extra 500k a year and according to everyone in the media we have no cap space or room to bring in anyone.

Port add a mill - are almost certain to be adding 1.5 mill if Watts comes across - and no one bats an eyelid. Theyre not paying peanuts for Gray, Hartlett, Ryder, Boak and Dixon. How the eff are they fitting these contracts into their cap?

Plenty of delisted talls I would be prepared to give a shot, especially given the amount of years we've given Griffiths.

Jonathan Freeman - develop
Sam Collins - develop
Lachlan Hansen - depth tall

Sam Collins is a reasonable player.

But I think Batch is better, so he'd be a bit down the pecking order.

Clubs are expecting a flurry of pick swaps late in the trade period. While deals involving players require them to consent to a proposed move, straight pick swaps can be done far more quickly. Clubs says pick swaps would already have been agreed to in principle and, provided some of those picks haven't been used in subsequent deals, can be ratified before Thursday's deadline.

I wonder if we could swap one or both of our first rounders for a first round pick next year?

I think the club knows other clubs will try and bend us over with Naish so we need to maximise what these picks are worth

If we don't have any they cant shaft us

Schache talk will not go away.

The more I think about it, the more I think we should do it as long as the price is right. Cheap highly regarded KPF's dont grow on trees. Strong relationship with Leppa, we have a strong culture at the club, I think he can shine. IMV we can afford to take a punt with this one

ESSENDON has secured the second of its three trade targets after sending a future second-round pick to Gold Coast in exchange for speedy half-back Adam Saad

Can someone go and get our trade team out of the pub, sober them up, and tell them trade week closes on Thursday!

Clearly been on the pee for 2 weeks straight now

‘The Real Deal’ tonight REVEAL; both Ricky Nixon & I [Tony Sheahan] believe @melbournefc star Jesse Hogan and the @freodockers are working on a trade.

Ricky Nixon's mail tonight is Miles + a good pick (#17) to Brisbane for Schache.

He compares Schache to Gunston. Adelaide said Gunston was no good and traded him. Gunston goes to Hawthorn and plays in a forward line alongside by Roughead, Cyril Rioli and co. and stars in premiership wins. At Richmond, Schache would get the sixth best defender and be able to peel off into space with Jack Riewoldt attracting the opposition defence's main attention.

I'd do that deal for sure.

It's a weak draft and Shache has big upside. I reckon he will emerge with our #insaneconnection.
