Does anyone think we will make the 8?

It's funny, at the start of 2016 we were being heavily backed to finish top 4. 
Here we are 12 months later with basically the same list minus Chappy, Ty & Lids but added Caddy Prestia Nank and we are now a bottom 4 side?
I think we might surprise and think we never got over that loss to Collingwood in round 2.  I know I didn't.

How did we ever lose that game anyway?

Hampson not manning up IIRC. Or was it a tap to collingwoods advantage 10m out?

Refer to Hampsons highlight page and bump it while you're at it, it's due. Unfortunately I cancelled my AFL subscription so no longer have access to match replays and can no longer update with GIFs . Maybe when the season starts...

Especially if we are thinking players like Batch, Grigg, Houli, Hampson, Hunt and Bellis are going to improve us.

All those players unfortunately will probably play round 1 and all of those players wouldn't get a game in a decent side like Hawthorn.

We need to player players that can "potentially" improve us in the long run. I don't even care if we don't make the finals this year as long as we are playing players that can improve and take us to the next level.
Playing Grigg and Houli might win you an extra game or 2 but they aren't taking us anywhere.
Like it or not we are in a mini rebuild to try and replace these guys.
