Richmond v Port - My VFL/AFL team, v my VFA team....can't lose.... :clapping

Gonna be an interesting week or so as the lone Tiger(apart from my kids) in a Port Melbourne family, a few of whom will be likely be at the match too...

Did we beat Port during the year? Can't remember but seems to ring a bell.

As Dio said we lost by 5 goals way back in round 3 at Port's home ground. Townsend also got injured early on in that game.

Ch 7 stats:
Miles 28
Lloyd 22
Ballard 22

Team disposals: 340 - 432
Uncont. poss.     199 - 280
Tackles:               46 - 49

We were actually extremely poor after quarter time. Port Melbourne cut us to ribbons on the outside. They won the uncontested footy by a whopping 81.

I'd doubt that will happen this time around given the high-pressure way we're playing now. We'll also have a few more AFL-listed players playing in the Granny.

Mark "Mardi Gras Haircut"  McClure on 7 yesterday: "Tigers VFL side in the Grand Final for their first shot at a trophy in 35 years...."

More exemplary knowledge of the game and it's history on display from a modern "footy journalist".... :clapping

Interested in people's views on Ballard?

Is he the one Dio rates? Or is it Darley? Or some other player

He's looked pretty handy the last month. Could do worse than playing him vs gws for a Grigg.

Mmmm your hatred for Grigg reminds me off another poster. What's your thoughts on Chaplin?
