Shane McCurry appointed to run Richmond players' leadership program (Foxsports)

Richmond has appointed a former AFL official, Shane McCurry, to run the players’ leadership program in 2017, having stopped using leadership facilitator Gerard Murphy during the club’s disappointing 2016.

McCurry, who worked with the AFL in football operations for some years, was involved in Essendon’s review of its football department during the 2015 season and is a leadership and culture consultant.

I dont know who is but i am sure it was a poo appointment and we passed up many others who are better.

I would of thought leadership came naturally, and the rest learn from the leaders.
Next they will be employing someone to teach them how to wipe fmd

So now a corporate Malaka by the name of Mccurry is going to 'run' the leadership group
because there's just so much more to it than showing leadership.

Such an ironic appointment.
