In season 2017 we will only be having 2 footy tipping competitions

We've decided to park one of our original comps "Boogie's Pick 4" for season 2017

If the last day is prior to the first game of each round (as you say), why are tipps allowed to be entered on a saturday and even a sunday once the teams have been finalised (as per below)

Tips are allowed for games that have yet to be played. For example, if someone forgets to enter their tips before tonight's game and enters them tomorrow morning say, then they can still enter them for the remaining matches excluding tonight's match.
