Our defending on transition and from clearances has been slack. Too loose.

So many mistackles due to not reading the hips with Essendon players nutmegging our guys .

Again we're not protecting the defensive side of centre bounces  . Don't know why we tap the ball backwards when there's no teammates or protection there. It just allows Essendon to get the easy clearance into their forward line.

Missing chances inside 50 when they have taken all of theirs.

Bolton was great there to win us possession and then Caddy misses the easy handpass to Dusty.

Essendon as a side are strong up fwd but weak mids esp for clearances.

If we lose the clearances well lose the game by 6 goals
