Second quarter killed this game.

Make no mistake - the umpires played an equal part.

That's what I was referring to. Played catch up in the third, then a couple cheap goals to them in the forth broke our back.

Fair enough.

Selection hurt us- Playing two down with cellis and soldo
Umpires killed us
Caddy going off early hurt
Rance got pantsed by a part time fwd
Houli is a disgrace, cost us two certain goals
cellis cost us a massive 12 point turn around just before halftime missing a simple handball when he had a 3 on 1

Very very disappointing effort and result

I tell you what, Houli HAS to be dropped after today. Worst decision maker in the ground. Disposal efficiency south of 50% and 1 tackle.

The Cats were able to win the contested possessions (150-132) and inside 50 entries (58-55), and in so doing deny Richmond the territorial advantage it has regularly had this season.

Geelong finished with 6.3.(39) from 27 forward half intercepts, while Richmond scored just 2.5.(17) from 25 such intercepts. This is the third worst score differential for the Tigers in this area in 2017.

Umpiring only becomes a factor if you let it. We fell asleep at the end of the 1st quarter and it really hurt us.

Before today we were talking about being a top 2 side but realistically how can we be with a ruckman like Soldo in our side.

Granted he is young and developing but the facts as he isn't up to AFL standard. Not even close.

Nothing against the kid but finals sides don't have players that can barely kick or handball the footy.

I'd rather go into games with Nank as out number 1 ruckman and bring someone in to give him an occasional chop out.

Seriously, I am getting over how people want to blame the umpires. It makes us all look like sore losers

The umpiring is poor, get over it.

We should have been further in front at qtr time. We fell asleep at the end of the 1st qtr and coughed up a lead  in the 2nd that we couldn't claw back.

Just driving back now. First time and last ever trip to Geelong.

We deserve 4 points for being made to visit that absolute dump.
Go Tigers!
